Because this is a sponsored PR application, the sponsoring person’s profile is the highlight here. The main applicant’s wife works as an early childhood teacher in the UK. She has a Diploma in Early Childhood certified in Singapore. This industry has been supported by the government since 2015 due to the increasing demand for better childcare and pre-school education. This created new jobs in this sector and a high demand for teachers. With her experience in the UK, it is not only good for her career in Singapore but it bodes well for her family’s PR applications as well.

The main applicant works in the logistic industry. Since the logistic industry is a stable contributor to Singapore’s GDP, being in this industry is advantageous for PR applicants. The main applicant is also hired by one of the biggest international logistics company for almost 10 years. With digital innovation in this sector, more opportunities are abound. Except for some annual visits to the sponsor’s family and outings with her friends whenever they are in the country, the main applicant has no network of his own in the country.
